Charlie Ryan is not only famous for writing and having the first hit record with "Hot Rod Lincoln", but for writing many other great country and rockabilly songs over the years.  Charlie worked with many great artists over the years including Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, Johnny Bond, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Asleep at the Wheel and countless other great artists.

This album features a collection of 16 songs from Charlie's personal archives as well as the last songs that Charlie Recorded before his passing in 2008.

"Tryin' to Walk Away My Blues" - Restored from the original tape.

"Honky Tonk Baby" - Recorded during the fall of 2001 at Mission Control Studios.  Charlie Ryan - Guitar/Vocals, Doug Clark - Electric guitar.

"Daddy Can I Night Herd in the Sky" - Restored from the original 78rpm vinely record featuring Charlie's son Joe Ryan, circa 1950.

"Spirit of the Lake" - Recording during the fall of 2001 at Mission Control Studios. Charlie Ryan - Vocals, Karl Bingle - guitars, percussion.

"My Old Home in Sunny Tennessee" - Recorded January 2002 at Mission Control Studios.  Charlie Ryan - Guitar & Lead Vocal, Doug Clark - Electric guitar, Ed Myers - Piano, Warren Franz - Bass Guitar, Karl Bingle - Drums, Chris Collins - Backing Vocals.

"Stand Up and Be Counted" - Recorded during the fall of 2001 at Mission Control Studios.  Charlie Ryan - Acoustic, Electric Guitars & Lead Vocals, Additional Electric Guitar by Doug Clark.
